HOW I HELP MY CLIENTS REMEMBER
WHO THEY ARE

The curious paradox is when I accept myself just as I am,
then I can change.
- Carl Rogers

A hero’s journey

Making the decision to move from suffering to wellness is to embark on a hero’s journey. Unraveling the stories of our lives and breaking through the walls that surround our hearts, we find out who we are. On the other side of the hero’s journey is transformation.

For individuals, this can mean:

  • Finally making peace with your past
  • Sorting through life’s current challenges
  • Moving through grief and loss
  • Moving toward a deeper, more fulfilling life
  • Discovering who you are and what you’re capable of
For couples, this can mean:

  • Understanding the negative cycle you get caught up in and putting a stop to it
  • Healing old wounds and resentments
  • Better management of conflict when it arises
  • Strengthening the emotional bond so that you each feel safe and loved
  • An increase in joy, friendship, fun and intimacy

You had me at hello.

Connecting with your inherent light and wisdom happens quickly and easily for me. Holding them up for you to see is one of the great joys of my life and one of the many reasons I became a therapist.

It lays the foundation for the difficult work of digging deeper, making sense of all the ways you have been struggling and trying to heal on your own.

Then we can do the transformative work of connecting you to who you already are.

Therapy should be practical and transformational.

My approach is grounded in the most effective, evidenced-based practices available and offers tools to be used in real time, starting with our first session.

Equally as important, working with me you will feel seen, accepted and respected. I guarantee that how your life is being currently lived will make sense to me.

Oh, the places you’ll go.

Depression, excessive worry, relationship conflict, trauma, indecision… they consume tremendous amounts of our life’s energy. Once they are worked through and healing has begun, living from our heart’s desire becomes possible.

You can heal, awaken and transform.

You can build a life you love.

About Me

It takes one to know one.

The moment I realized I wanted to do this work I was sitting on the couch across from my own therapist. I remember it like it was yesterday – how scared I had felt making that call and how relieved I felt the moment I did.

In my early twenties, I went to therapy to work through some turmoil in my life and ended up planting the seeds of my own transformation. Through my own healing, I discovered my life’s calling to become a therapist and help others. It was life-changing, as all good therapy should be.

Some of the most meaningful moments of my life have come from helping others feel seen and heard for the first time in their lives.

Who am I really?

I am a daughter of aging parents, a sibling, a partner in a 15-year marriage, and a parent of two daughters (and two four-legged friends). I am well acquainted with the overwhelming difficulties life can bring.

I am a lover of all animals and the outdoors, a reader, a life-long learner; someone who takes great pleasure in friends and family, who loves both lively conversation and quiet spaces, and who laughs as readily as I cry.

Let me take your hero’s journey with you, offering support, perspective, curiosity and, when needed, a push towards your own inherent strength, wisdom and capabilities.

I will help you remember who you are.

Do you know what you are? You are a manuscript oƒ a divine letter. You are a mirror reflecting a noble face. This universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you are already that.
